The tech came out quickly and climbed into the hot attic. After about 15 minutes he came down and said "The roof is good, but the drain pan pipe on the HVAC unit move out of position and was draining on the attic floor and then onto our ceiling causing the leak on the bedroom floor. The tech went to the truck and came back with a caulk gun and re-installed the drain pan pipe so that it drained into the drain pan. Now that is trustworthy service read less

Our rep Bryan was exceptional. From day one he was up front about everything. Educated us on what we needed to do to get our roof replaced. Was available basically 24/7 for whatever crazy questions we had and worked with us on the financial side as well. When they came out to replace the roof, we got texts days in advance when they'd be coming instead of just showing up like some contractors do. The crews that came out were very professional and polite. They made sure nothing would get broke, moved what needed to be moved, covered the rose bushes etc. Nothing got damaged except the old roof 🙂 If you need a roof replaced this is the construction company to use. Again, an absolutely wonderful experience due to everyone being professional, courteous and polite through out the whole process. A+++++ read less

They showed up early the next morning, inspected my entire property, and tarped the skylight to prevent any leaks from storms that were expected the next couple days. All of the legwork that James Kate Construction did on the front end--pictures, damage spot identification, explain the process in simple terms--all made this an easy process for me thru the claim process. The roof installation group arrived at 6:30am and were done with my ENTIRE roof and skylight replacement by 1:30pm! Amazing... My property was spotless when they left and the workers were polite and professional. Gutter replacement took 2 5 hours a couple days later. The group was just like the roof group, super nice and even asked for my input on where I wanted the downspouts placed. Subtle touch, but this is huge in terms of customer service! Hopefully you never need your roof replaced, but I would highly recommend James Kate Construction if you are ever in my situation. Nothing compares to an expert keeping it simple and easy when bad things like this happen. read less

He always quickly returned phone calls and texts when I had questions or concerns. He took time out of his busy schedule and also rearranged his schedule when possible to help me get the new roof put on before my closing date. The new roof looks beautiful! I liked their work and professionalism so much I had them come back to install replacement windows through my whole house. Having a company I trust was important since the workers would be in my house not just on a roof. James Kate did not let me down. The whole process from choosing my window to scheduling was very smooth and clearly communicated with me each step of the way. They even assisted with financing. The installers were great and made sure they covered everything and cleaned their work area before moving to the next window. Most importantly the windows look great inside and out. read less
